GDC & DirectX 10
The Games Developer Conference has some good information on the upcoming DirectX 10. You can read about it in this post at the Hardforum. Hopefully with Windows Vista delayed, there will be some sort of upgrade for Windows XP users.

Apple vs Beatles
Sounds more like the topic for a nature program. It seems that the Beatles (British band from the 60's in case your were born yesterday) are still upset over Apple entering the music business. The Beatles record label is named Apple and they came to an agreement years ago with Apple Computer over the Apple name. However that agreement seemed to imply that Apple Computers stays out of the music business. iTunes of course changed that. Now the two are in court and many people at Macrumors are discussing it.

Dolby Digital vs DTS
Here is a new thread at Hexus.net on an old topic. Dolby Digital vs DTS. Which digital surround sound format is better? It seems to vary on the movie and individual sound preference, but you can still drop by and read up on what others think.
